After rummaging through his mother's old files for 10 hours, he finally finds an official document about Reene H. Taking advantage of the fact that she was in good spirits and health, he asks her for information from when she worked at IMC, to get information about Wraith's past. Stressed, he decides to call his mother for help. Mirage refuses to listen any longer because of the stress, saying he's a lousy friend, and that Wraith was the main witness to it. When Wraith tries to leave, Mirage chases after her apologizing and mentioning that it's just a joke, to which she angrily mentions all the times he made hurtful remarks towards Wraith as a joke, and that, despite always being there for him for everything, especially when he gets in trouble, she keeps getting jokes and tasteless comments from him, to finally storm off. As the two are about to leave, it is revealed to the reader that the important thing Wraith wanted to say is a document from the IMC that talks about her personality and reputation as a scientist before she lost her memory. Mirage finally resorts to the idea of buying Rampart flowers as a form of apology, but, after interrupting him to tell him something important, Wraith regrets it, and tells him that she will accompany him to buy the flowers, to which Mirage thanks him for always having her back. She asks him for advice on how to apologize, asking what, as a girl, would make her happy, to which Wraith replies "Getting my memories back". It begins with Mirage asking Wraith for help because he sent Rampart's items with the help of the Syndicate to another planet believing she was going to move.
